.

French (GAZ) fittings are popular in France. The fittings have a 24° seating angle quite similar to DIN fittings. Poclain flanges are different than the SAE Flanges and have a protruding angled cone ( spout ) to provide seating. French millimetrique fittings are desinged to suit metric whole number tubing, while the French (GAZ) fittings suit the fractional number metric OD tubes.

The Metric solid Male 24° seat fitting is provided with parallel threads (metric).The seating takes place on the 24° cone and the angled male on female connections. The French Standard uses fine threads in all applications.

Japanese Equipment uses the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) couplings with 30° seat and threads similar to the British Standards. All Flanges are similar to code 61 and code 62 American Standard Flanges. Although the thread angles and dimensions are similar to BSP seating in Japanese Standard is inverted.

KOMATSU FLANGE

 The Komastu flange is similar to the code 61 American flange and is fully interchangeble. The 'o' ring sizes are different than the code 61 flange and proper care is to be taken while replacing it with the other by providing the right 'o' ring.
